Alumni House
The Gregory P. Klich Alumni House provides Christopher Newport’s 30,000 alumni a place to reminisce, connect with classmates, and to call home when they return to campus. Designed by Glavé & Holmes Architecture, its beautiful rooms span over 11,800 square feet and have been filled with laughter, love and hundreds of events since it opened in February of 2018.
Like all buildings on Christopher Newport's campus, it features elements of traditional classical orders from Tuscan to Corinthian. In keeping with the established character of the campus, the Gregory P. Klich Alumni House was designed in the Doric order. With the incredible interior design implemented by our very own Rosemary Trible, this building now brings stature and vibrancy to a forever home for our alumni.
Alumni House Museum
At the Gregory P. Klich Alumni House, our many donated archives tell the story of Christopher Newport. From the very first CNC diploma and to memorabilia from our first decade to our more recently developed traditions, the Alumni House Museum showcases our rich history.
Regularly, we will call upon our alumni and friends to donate or loan various items to help us tell our story. If you have questions about the museum or wish to contribute an item, please contact the University Historian, Dr. Sean Heuvel at sheuvel@cnu.edu.
