First Decaders

The First Decaders are the trailblazers of our alumni family - the graduates, former students, faculty, and staff who helped shape Christopher Newport College in its earliest years. Their leadership, spirit, and stories form the foundation of the university we know today, and they remain a vital part of the Christopher Newport Alumni Society.

Each fall, the First Decaders return for their signature luncheon, a cherished celebration honoring the people and moments that built our institution from the ground up.
